Celotti Workforce are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator for a 12-month project, located at the Williamstown Defence Base in Victoria.
Full Time 12-month contract.

Key responsibilities:
Identify areas of improvements to the BSM documentation and make recommendations
Liaise with managers and staff to develop and update procedures, documents, and forms to improve processes
Promote a positive culture by working with teams to improve understanding of ISO accreditation and compliance obligations
Maintain and update the OH&S;, Quality and Environmental Management Systems
Communicate changes to key stakeholders
Assist in preparation of regular Safety, Quality and Environmental newsletters
Conduct annual safety and environmental legal compliance register audits, document results
Review and update SWMS annually
Participate in Safety Projects, Setting actions
Assist in conducting internal audits and providing feedback to teams on audit results
Assist in the implementation of external audit finding control measures and recommendations, document
Assist in the development of annual OH&S;, Quality and Environmental targets and objectives
About you:
Tertiary qualifications desirable
Cert IV Work Health and Safety or equivalent
At least 1 years in an OH&S;, risk management, quality type role
Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvement initiatives
Demonstrated experience in Project Management and Change Management
Organised and accurate with attention to detail
Excellent critical thinking, analytical, problem solving and evaluation skills
Knowledge of Construction industry desirable
Auditing qualifications an advantage
Must be able to gain a clean police check
