About our Quantum Sensing Research team: Our Research
We are a highly dynamic group of 30 specialists in theoretical and experimental atomic physics, cold-atom interferometry, navigation modeling, and modern Bayesian estimation and signal processing techniques.
We collaborate closely with physicists, quantum control engineers, and sensor hardware specialists to implement quantum control protocols on real quantum sensor hardware.
You will assist in developing, operating, and analyzing next-generation atom interferometer-based quantum sensors for various applications such as aerospace, defense, geophysical exploration, and earth observation.
We aim to reduce scientific risk across novel techniques that improve state-of-the-art quantum sensor performance and increase ruggedness of lab-based systems used to operate next generation quantum sensors.
Collaborate with your colleagues to share insights into control-augmented quantum sensing through verbal presentations and written outlets.
The ideal candidate has a PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline and experience in atom interferometry, cold, and/or ultracold atomic systems, and/or quantum sensing in warm atomic vapors.
We prioritize outcomes over hours and offer flexibility, equity potential, and competitive benefits.
