Role Overview
This role offers higher-grade duties and valuable skill development within a supportive team, with opportunities to progress in healthcare and administration.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of administrative tasks and act as the friendly contact for correspondence and enquiries, ensuring all interactions are efficient and professional.
Support multiple departments, including Ward Clerk, Outpatients and Admissions, Mail Services, Clinical Support Officer, Emergency Department & Operating Theatre, and Waitlists.
Maintain good availability throughout the week and be comfortable working on a 24/7 rotating roster.
Qualifications & Requirements
Good availability throughout the week, including overnight and weekend shifts as required.
Proactive and positive attitude with a genuine team-player mindset.
Experience or willingness to work across a range of roles and departments in a hospital setting.
Eligibility
To qualify for permanent employment you must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen holding a current New Zealand passport. Temporary visa holders may only be considered if no suitable local candidate is identified and the offer complies with visa conditions.
