Account Manager Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career as an account manager in a global company. You will manage your own portfolio of customer accounts and be given ownership to build a work schedule that best suits you and your customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building Relationships: You will be on the field meeting with customers daily to capture business opportunities, understand how to create value in accounts through long-term profitable relationships.
* Time and Territory Management: Create a daily schedule to optimize client potential and sales productivity by zone territory.
* Representing the Company: Carry technical knowledge to present high-level customer consultations in your defined territory and represent the company in the marketplace.
* Tracking Progress: Utilize Salesforce to record interactions to make sales as reporting is a key part of this role.
Requirements:
* Tertiary Qualification: Highly desirable, but not mandatory.
* Customer-Facing Experience: Previous experience in any customer-facing roles is essential.
* Learning Ability: Eagerness to learn, motivated, and capable of working independently.
* Hands-On Attitude: Demonstrating tools to customers using platforms such as Salesforce to keep track of everything and collaborate with various departments.
* Time Management: Planning, prioritization skills are crucial for this role.
* Valid Driver's License: Maintain a valid full Australian driver's license - we'll provide a company car.
* Engineering Qualification or Construction Industry Experience: Preferred, but not mandatory.
