We are looking for a talented Production Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly of devices, improving processes, and optimizing equipment to meet production goals.
The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of medical devices, their underlying technologies, and application in a manufacturing environment. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to map and improve processes.
* Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
* Support manufacturing operations through training and technical assistance
* Analyze and troubleshoot production issues
Main Responsibilities:
Production Support:
* Train technicians on manufacturing processes to ensure yield and quality metrics
* Investigate production and process issues providing technical support and training via non-conformance reports
* Perform manufacturing processes to achieve set production throughput and delivery targets
Automation Support:
* Identify automation opportunities in assembly and business processes and communicate requirements to the automation team
* Review and validate jigs, tools, and equipment for production with a focus on increasing throughput and quality
Documentation:
* Maintain and complete documentation and records within our quality management system
* Create or improve existing manufacturing process documents and other technical documentation
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering or Science (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a hands-on manufacturing support role with precision components experience
* Capable of upskilling to develop technical capabilities in a challenging domain
