Job Description
The role of a Specimen Collector is a crucial part of our team's operations. As a key member, you will be responsible for collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients. Your exceptional customer service and communication skills will ensure seamless interactions with customers, clinic staff, and couriers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collecting biological samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention to detail.
* Maintaining accurate records for every patient and sample.
* Delivering documentation within tight turnaround times.
* Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or Certificate III in Pathology Collection.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Able to work autonomously and independently, with minimal supervision.
* Valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
* Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one.
* Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa with permission to work.
* Proof of vaccination against vaccine-preventable diseases.
