Position
Work Coordinator (Operations) – Operations Directorate
Description
* Play a key role in supporting the delivery of essential community services, ensuring administrative processes, regulatory functions and customer interactions are managed efficiently and in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and guidelines.
* Coordinate and assist in the scoping, planning, delivery and review of projects within Council's Delivery and Operational Plan and capital projects.
* Collaborate with a diverse range of services and contribute to initiatives that improve processes and community outcomes.
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Business Administration or related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience in operational project support, administration or contract administration.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* SafeWork NSW Construction Induction (White Card).
* Current and maintained NSW Driver's Licence.
It will be highly desirable if you possess any of the following:
* Qualifications in Project Management, Civil Operations or equivalent.
* Experience in the management/coordination of administration functions within an operational unit or business.
* Knowledge of the role, functions and responsibilities of Local Government.
