Employment Opportunities Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Opportunities Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will work closely with job seekers to identify areas for development, upskilling and training. You will network with local employers to create future employment opportunities and help them understand the benefits of working with us.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Networking with community organisations to explain our services
* Developing strong relationships with customers to understand their capacity to work and their employment preferences
* Maintaining regular contact with employers and customers to review their progress and address any issues
* Working with other local services to address barriers to employment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in a recruitment or similar role, with skills in reverse marketing and target-driven performance
* A strong ability to build relationships with people from all walks of life
* Excellent networking skills and the ability to source employment opportunities
* The ability to balance empathy with results-focused delivery
* Strong administrative, compliance and IT skills
You will also need:
1. A Right to Work in Australia (Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or visa with Work Rights)
2. A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or willingness to gain if successful
