Responsibilities
A new opportunity is now available for a diligent and experienced Educator and Facilitator to support two of our Residential Aged Care (RAC) homes as a Workplace Educator. You will have the opportunity to identify and manage the education, training and compliance needs and in turn facilitate training across all areas of home operations, including – clinical, hospitality, laundry, cleaning and more, supporting home compliance and developing colleagues' skills to enhance performance of our residential aged care teams.
* Facilitate and deliver ongoing education and training to all employees, supporting compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
* Develop training calendars and plans that maintain high compliance levels
* Coordinate and deliver induction and onboarding programmes for new employees
* Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify gaps and develop learning plans
* Support and mentor staff, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment
* Utilise blended learning methods and adult learning principles to maximise engagement and competency
* Monitor and report on compliance with training and onboarding plans, escalating issues as required
* Collaborate with managers, HR, and clinical teams to ensure training aligns with organisational needs
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
* Registered Nurse (AHPRA registration) preferred but not essential
* Demonstrated experience in delivering education and training programmes – ideally within residential aged care
* Strong understanding of workplace health and safety, Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Willingness to travel to Orange approx. 1 day per week
* Driver's Licence and vehicle – travel reimbursed
