Description
We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Wetherill Park, Sydney .
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Deliver a first-class service to our customers across mining, automotive, and power generation sectors.
* Complete breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance of heavy diesel products.
* Diagnose and repair various engines.
* Engines rebuilding and reconditioning.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues/incidents to the Field Service Supervisor.
* Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Mechanical trades qualification as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic, or Plant Mechanic. Light vehicle with heavy vehicle experience will also be considered.
* Experience in service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, ideally with an OEM.
* Previous repairs and maintenance experience in Marine, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction, or Agriculture applications is desirable but not essential.
