Executive Assistant 5 Days per Week | Term Time with Additional Hours at Semester Start

Charlton Christian College – Fassifern, NSW

Charlton Christian College is a K–12 co-educational Christian college of over 800 students, located in Fassifern, Lake Macquarie. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centred education of excellence that helps students develop their God-given potential.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide executive administrative support to the Principal and Board and support the effective operation of the Principal's Office.


About the Role

* Provide executive administrative coordination to the Principal and Board.
* Manage the Principal's Office including calendar, visitors, communication and correspondence.
* Coordinate meetings, logistics, travel, events and documentation.
* Support recruitment administration in partnership with the Director of People and Culture.
* Maintain policy registers and version control in consultation with the Executive Team
* Some additional days are required at the beginning of each semester (January and June) to support school operations.
The Successful Applicant Will Have:
* A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, regular attendance at a local church and support for the College Statement of Faith.
* Understanding of, and commitment to, child safety in an educational setting.
Current Working with Children Check.
* Relevant Diploma-level qualification (or equivalent) and experience providing administrative/executive support in a professional setting.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn College systems (e.g. Adobe, databases, survey software and online meeting platforms).
* Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information, and a respectful, service-oriented approach to colleagues, parents and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated experience in the following competencies:

* Delivering Results and Meeting Expectations
* Adapting & Responding to Change
* Commencement
* Week commencing 13 January 2026.


Salary & Conditions

The entry level hourly rate for this role is $48.52/hour. As the position is term-time only, staff can elect to average their pay across the year to provide consistent fortnightly payments. The role is remunerated under the Christian Schools General Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement and will receive a 4% increase from 1 February 2026.
