Role
The key responsibility for the Electrical Specialist is to enhance the customer experience by providing customers with a personalised service and specialist knowledge to design their Electrical plan, advising and guiding customers with selections to personalise their home. By providing information and advice, along with product features and benefits, the Electrical Specialist supports the customer with a range of selections including power, data, security, automation and lighting.
If you've worked in a lighting showroom, retail furniture store, or any consultative retail environment where you've helped customers choose lighting, home products, or interior finishes — this is a perfect next step.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
* Conducting 5-10 customer selection appointments per week
* Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
* Maintaining the showroom to a high standard
* Working closely with the wider Customer Experience team to provide support as required
Qualifications
* An ability to read and interpret house plans, in particular the electrical plans
* Previous experience in a customer facing role – a role within the construction industry will be highly regarded
* Ability to quickly build relationships and trust with a diverse customer base
* Ability to translate technical information into customer-friendly language
* Strong listening skills alongside excellent written and verbal communication
* A passion for home building and interior selections
* High energy, positivity, warmth and authenticity
* A high standard of personal presentation
Experience in construction or home building is a bonus, but not essential.
