As Area Manager – Early Childhood (Ovens Murray), you’ll lead and inspire a transdisciplinary team of early childhood professionals to ensure the delivery of best-practice support to families of children with disability or developmental delay.
Your role will be both strategic and hands-on— you’ll support a team of Early Childhood professionals to deliver high-quality, best-practice services for families of children with disability or developmental delay, while confidently overseeing performance, budgets, reporting, and compliance.
Your role will be innovative, modelling a collaborative, family-centred approach and seek to actively build the capacity of families and carers to support children with disability/developmental delay.
What you’ll be doing in this role?
- Champion a collaborative, capacity-building approach.
- Foster innovation and continuous improvement in early childhood practice
- Lead, mentor and support a dedicated team
- Work alongside and be supported by experienced and passionate leaders within the organisation
- Ensure smooth operational management and quality outcomes for families
What we’re looking for:
- A university qualification in Early Childhood Education or Allied Health
- In-depth knowledge of child development and early intervention best practice
- Experience managing a transdisciplinary team in an early childhood or paediatric setting
- A passion for building strong, supportive relationships with families and professionals alike
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence
- A current Working with Children Check (Employee) or VIT Registration
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (can be obtained during application)
