About the Opportunity: We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Business Analysts who are open to exploring upcoming opportunities across Newcastle. These roles will suit professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working across end-to-end project lifecycles. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and successfully delivered.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
* Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings
* Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and specifications
* Work closely with technical teams to support solution design and delivery
* Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and business process improvements
* Support testing phases including UAT and validation of deliverables
* Ensure alignment between business objectives and project outcomes
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst across enterprise environments
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery methodologies
* Demonstrated ability in requirements gathering and documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories)
* Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Exposure to system integration, digital transformation, or data projects is highly regarded
Desirable Experience
* Experience working across industries such as financial services, healthcare, logistics, or technology
* Knowledge of process modelling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio)
* Prior experience working in cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams
