Operating Theatre Floor Coordinator Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operating Theatre Floor Coordinator to lead and manage daily operations across our state-of-the-art surgical suites.
* Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day scheduling and theatre utilisation, coordinating staffing, equipment, and patient flow to optimise surgical outcomes, acting as the clinical and operational lead during theatre sessions, supporting and mentoring perioperative staff, collaborating closely with Surgeons, Anaesthetists, and Nursing Managers, and contributing to ongoing quality improvements and clinical governance.
Skills and Qualifications
* A Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration is required, along with a minimum of 3 years' perioperative experience, at least 2 years in a leadership role, and recent scrub experience preferably in orthopaedics.
* Eligibility to work in Australia is also essential.
