We are seeking an experienced Agency Trust Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our residential and commercial property portfolios. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, compliance, and supporting a high-performing property management team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the full trust accounting, ensuring seamless financial processes across both portfolios. Working closely with our Property Managers and Commercial team, you'll ensure trust compliance, timely reporting, and smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily trust account management and bank reconciliations
* Receipting rent and outgoings
* Owner disbursements, creditor payments, and batch processing
* Monthly and EOFY trust reporting
* Tenant/owner ledger maintenance
* Troubleshooting discrepancies and providing internal support
* Ensuring compliance with WA trust accounting and audit requirements
What We're Looking For:
* Demonstrated experience in real estate trust accounting
* Knowledge across both residential and commercial portfolios
* Strong working ability in Property Tree and/or Re-Leased is preferred
* Excellent attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach
* Strong understanding of trust account legislation in Western Australia
