The Roles
Full Time Sales Consultant / Trainee 2IC - Booragoon store
This is a hands-on, sales-focused role designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career with Orbit Fitness. While you\'ll be trained across all facets of the sales process, the clear intention is for the right candidate to grow into a 2IC position, supporting the Store Manager with daily operations and team leadership on their RDO\'s.
You\'ll be customer-facing, target-driven, and actively coached to develop both your sales capability and leadership skills, while earning strong commissions along the way.
Full Time Sales Consultant - Osborne Park store
This is a hands-on, customer-facing sales role suited to someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a target-driven retail environment. You\'ll be responsible for guiding customers through the sales process, understanding their fitness goals, and recommending the right equipment to suit their needs while delivering a high level of customer service.
You\'ll receive ongoing training to build your product knowledge and sales capability, helping you confidently engage with customers and close sales. The role offers strong commission opportunities for high performers and the chance to grow your experience within the Orbit Fitness sales team.

* Engage customers and identify fitness equipment needs
* Recommend tailored fitness solutions
* Achieve sales targets, KPIs, and store budgets
* Deliver exceptional customer service
* Support daily store operations and leadership
Key Responsibilities of a Sales Consultant
* Greet and engage customers in store, creating a welcoming and professional first impression.
* Understand customer needs and recommend suitable fitness equipment solutions.
* Guide customers through the full sales process from enquiry through to purchase.
* Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to overall store performance.
* Follow up enquiries, quotes, and leads to maximise sales opportunities.
* Maintain strong product knowledge and ensure the showroom is well presented at all times.
About You
Essential:
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic

* Confident communication skills
* Availability to work Saturdays + Sundays (Sales roles – busiest days)
Desirable Qualities :
* Previous retail or sales experience, ideally in a customer-focused environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
* A motivated, target-driven mindset with a genuine interest in achieving results.
* Interest in fitness, health, or gym equipment (not essential but highly valued).
* Reliable, positive attitude with the ability to work well in a small team environment.
* Willingness to learn, take coaching, and continuously improve sales skills
