**About the Opportunity**
An exciting new opportunity is available for an experienced and enthusiastic Credit Manager to join a highly reputable business based in Western Sydney. This role will involve managing a team of 10 Credit Officers across the APAC Region and owning the credit function across the region, from credit risk management, working capital, collection, reporting and analytics.
The company has a fantastic working culture, offering hybrid working conditions and flexible hours. They allow staff to work 3 days from home and 2 days in the office.
**Reporting to the Financial Controller, responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:
- Managing the credit team of 10 across the APAC region, including credit risk management, working capital, collection, reporting and analytics.
- Performing credit risk assessments on strategic accounts
- Maintain control of aging and outstanding debts in line with company policy
- Identify and lead continuous process and system improvement activities related to Accounts Receivable
- Report on the status of debtors, including yearly bad debt write offs
- Improve customer experience and build solid relationships across all departments at various levels
**The successful applicant will have**:
- Experience managing a Credit/ Accounts Receivable Team. It is highly advantageous if you have had experience managing an APAC team, however national credit managers are also welcome to apply
- A process improvement/ change driving mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Solid fundamental accounting knowledge for reporting purposes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate Excel Skills
