OpenText Content Manager (TRM) User Access Automation Consultant

Availability for at least one on‐site visit in Darwin.

Role Overview

The OpenText Content Manager (TRM) User Access Automation Consultant will lead the assessment, design, and documentation of a user access automation roadmap for the Territory Records Manager (TRM) platform— enterprise records and information management system. The role is focused on analysis, architecture, solution design, and knowledge transfer, with a strong emphasis on security, identity integration, and automation readiness.

This position requires deep expertise in OpenText Content Manager, security and access controls, automation tooling, and integration with Microsoft identity services.

Key Responsibilities 1. Current-State Assessment
* Analyse and document current TRM user access processes (provisioning, modification, de‐provisioning).
* Identify inefficiencies, risk factors, manual steps, and dataset/domain variations.
* Review alignment with identity, security, and governance frameworks.

Assess opportunities for automation and orchestration using:

* Microsoft Active Directory / LDAP
* OpenText Operations Orchestration (OO)
* Evaluate what can be achieved with existing capabilities versus where new tooling or uplift is required.
3. Options Paper Development
* Produce a documented assessment and options paper suitable for executive, technical, and procurement audiences.
* Provide high‐level options to improve consistency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen security controls.
4. Roadmap & High‐Level Solution Design

Develop a prioritised roadmap for TRM access automation, including:

* Later phases: provisioning and access modification
* Provide high‐level architecture aligned with our standards.
* Outline implementation considerations, sequencing, and dependencies.
5. Knowledge Transfer
* Deliver structured handover and technical knowledge transfer to personnel.
Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills
* Current OpenText Partner accreditation (mandatory).
* Deep experience with:
o OpenText Content Manager security and access controls
o Microsoft Active Directory / LDAP
o OpenText CM SDK and/or Service API
o OpenText Operations Orchestration
o Strong experience working in complex government or enterprise environments.
Consulting Skills
* Proven advisory and solution‐design capability.
* Ability to document detailed analysis and roadmap materials.
* Strong communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.

Scope of Work

Deliverable 1 - TRM user access automation assessment and options paper
* Assess and document the current state of user access provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning processes within TRM.
* Identify inefficiencies, risks, and points of manual intervention.
* Analyse automation opportunities within the technical environment, including consideration of:
o Microsoft Active Directory / LDAP integration
o OpenText Content Manager SDK and/or Service API
o OpenText Operations Orchestration (OO), where appropriate
* Provide high‐level options for improving and automating user access management, with consideration of:
o Security model consistency
o Dataset and domain variability
o Progressive adoption across the TRM environment
* Output: A documented assessment and options paper suitable for executive, technical, and procurement audiences.
Deliverable 2 - TRM user access automation roadmap and solution design
* Develop a prioritised, phased automation roadmap for TRM user access management, clearly identifying:
o Phase 1 – user access deprovisioning opportunities that can be initiated earliest
o Subsequent phases for provisioning and access modification
* Provide high‐level solution design aligned with architecture, security, and governance standards:
o What can be implemented with existing capability
o What requires additional tooling, integration, or governance uplift
* Provide practical implementation planning guidance to support future delivery phases.
* Conduct structured knowledge transfer to technical staff.
* Output: A consolidated roadmap and solution design pack that enables progression to future implementation.
Out of Scope
* Configuration or deployment of automation solutions
* Changes to TRM production environments
* Ongoing operational or support activities
