Freedom Fuels is an independent petroleum company with 42 Fuel Convenience retail outlets in Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
As part of the Idemitsu Kosan Co Ltd group of companies, Freedom Fuels' operations extend to include retailing, terminal operations, wholesale and commercial distribution and supply.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys motivating and inspiring others and has a passion for high level customer service and personalising the shopping experience.
It is essential that you are available to work across store trading hours, including weekends and that you have experience in safe handling and preparation of take away food.
This role will also require you to undertake merchandising and rotation of stock, therefore you must be physically capable of undertaking heavy lifting and being on your feet for long periods of time.
As a Retail Assistant Manager you take pride in the success and presentation of your site and have a great attention to detail.
You will be required to assist the Site Manager in all daily operations of the site, which includes; Meeting assigned budgets and KPIs Staff rostering, mentoring and training Food preparation and handling Volume cash handling and reconciliations Providing exceptional customer service and operating the console Merchandising, marketing and stock management - receipting inward goods, lifting, restocking and layout variations Ensuring food safety standards are adhered and followed The Successful Applicant: Passionate to provide exceptional customer service A role model for fellow employees Experience in a similar role Ability to manoeuvre heavy objects (lift up to 20kgs) Outstanding communication across all levels Works well in a team environment Has impeccable presentation standards A flexible attitude that will grow and change with the business An unforgettable presence in customer relations Able to work a Sunday to Thursday roster PLEASE APPLY
