Overview We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a junior solicitor to join our plaintiff personal injury firm in our Sydney office.
This is an ideal opportunity for a 1+ PAE plaintiff personal injury solicitor to build a strong foundation in personal injury law while making a meaningful difference in clients' lives.
This role is a hybrid position, offering the convenience of working from both home and office.
Key Responsibilities Progress personal injury claims across workers compensation, work injury damages, motor vehicle accidents, public liability, and TPD.
Assist with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence.
Liaise with insurers, medical providers, and counsel to gather evidence and manage timelines.
Conduct legal research to support case strategy and procedural compliance.
Assist with dispute resolution processes including mediations and conciliations.
Maintain accurate file records and contribute to efficient team workflow under supervision.
Deliver initial phone advice to potential clients and assess claim viability using your legal knowledge.
Accurately document all enquiries in the client management system.
Escalate complex or urgent matters to the appropriate team member.
Convert qualified leads into retained clients and active matters.
Essential Skills and Experience Admitted to practice as a Solicitor in NSW.
1+ years PAE working in plaintiff personal injury law – previous experience within the personal injury space is advantageous.
A keen interest in learning and growing your career in personal injury.
Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
Time management with ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed monthly productivity targets.
A genuine interest in client care and helping people.
Enthusiastic, committed and proactive approach to work.
Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
