Overview
Our Senior Engineers are responsible for designing, building, operating, and continuously improving highly reliable, secure, and scalable software systems, with a strong focus on system integration and customer communications platforms. In this role, the Senior Engineer will play a key part in the design and operation of API‑first, event‑driven integrations with platforms such as Quadient Inspire Evolve, enabling omnichannel customer communications (digital, SMS, email, print) at scale.
Responsibilities
* Contribute heavily to solution and integration design
* Act as a pace setter for delivery and operational excellence
* Take strong ownership of non‑functional requirements such as reliability, resilience, security, performance, and observability
* Support and uplift other engineers through mentoring and technical leadership
Qualifications
* 5+ years’ experience in software development, with a strong focus on .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
* Strong experience designing and building system integrations using REST APIs, events, and messaging
* Hands‑on experience with distributed systems, including monolithic, microservice, serverless, and cloud‑native architectures
* Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and containerised workloads
* Experience with customer communications platforms (e.g. Quadient Inspire Evolve, CCM or document generation systems) is highly desirable
* Experience with persistence technologies such as SQL and NoSQL (e.g. SQL Server, DynamoDB, Redis)
* Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy)
* Strong collaboration skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
* Passionate about mentoring, knowledge sharing, and engineering excellence
