As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Bakewell, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations.
Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will:
- Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart Bakewell:
We are a 60 place centre, open from 7.00am to 6.00pm.
Our Centre in Bakewell is located in a residential area, close to schools, local shops and community services.
Outside, we have a large natural outdoor yard includes a river bed rock pool, bike track, sandpit and swing area.
Our play areas are inviting and fun with lots of shade to help beat the summer heat! Given our climate, we can enjoy the outdoors all year around.
We provide high quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
