Key Role: Business Leader
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our business finance functions.
Job Description:
* This key role involves overseeing daily operations, managing stakeholder relationships and implementing internal control processes for long-term success.
* You will be responsible for managing the finance function, including daily reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable.
Responsibilities:
1. Implementing and maintaining effective financial control systems.
2. Managing financial reporting and analysis.
3. Liaising with external accountants regarding financial position.
4. Providing leadership and support to the administration team in client relations and operations within Electrical & Solar divisions.
5. Preparing weekly payroll, superannuation, payroll tax returns, and PAYG lodgements.
6. Preparing employment contracts and managing Workcover claims.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years experience in financial or business management roles.
* Strong organisational, management and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
* University degree in Accounting or Commerce/Business (highly regarded).
* Extensive experience with accounting software, particularly Xero and integrated job management systems.
* HR experience is desirable but not essential.
