We are seeking an experienced and influential leader to join our organisation as a Network Maintenance Delivery Director (Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer/IMDM), partnering closely with the General Manager to drive excellence in asset performance, safety, and operational delivery. Your work will shape the culture of safety, compliance and performance, fostering continual improvement and ensuring our assets operate to the highest standards. You will lead a large, multidisciplinary workforce and play a key role in transforming the way we deliver maintenance across a dynamic, integrated passenger and rail infrastructure environment. Key Responsibilities Shape strategic direction as part of the Senior Leadership Team, guiding key programs in a fast‑moving rail environment. Own critical operational decisions and risk management across multidisciplinary engineering teams. Align asset, engineering, cost and workforce requirements, driving strong cross‑functional engagement and accountability. Lead the annual maintenance plan, ensuring smart prioritisation, efficient delivery and tight budget control. Champion safety, asset performance and efficiency improvements, ensuring compliance and proactive risk prevention. Provide clear direction on asset programs to enable successful delivery across a complex rail network. Act as the escalation point for major operational risks, balancing safety, legal, environmental and commercial considerations. Build influential relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring strong communication, integration and delivery of major milestones.
