We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Asset Planner for a Perth-based role, with fortnightly travel to site (Tuesday morning travel to site and return to Perth Wednesday afternoon). This is a fixed-term engagement of approximately five months and offers a great balance between office-based planning and regular site exposure.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating effective electrical maintenance plans that support asset reliability and operational performance. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining accurate electrical maintenance plans and schedules
* Scoping work orders, raising notifications, and ensuring all required materials, labour, and resources are identified
* Reviewing asset performance data and prioritising work to support reliability and operational requirements
* Collaborating closely with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure effective work execution
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures
Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* An Electrical qualification and/or proven experience in electrical planning within mining, heavy industry, or similar environments
* A strong understanding of electrical maintenance practices and asset management principles
* Proficiency in SAP or a similar CMMS
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
* Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Electrical Planner to contribute to a dynamic operation while gaining regular site exposure alongside Perth-based planning responsibilities.
