We have various positions available in Sydney, for motivated and experienced Technicians (Service Technician) with trade qualifications either in Electrical, Mechanical or Hydraulics to join our team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess demonstrated experience and knowledge in the key areas defined below:
Responsibilities
* Overhead crane servicing, repairs, upgrades and installations.
* Leadand superviseapprentices if applicable.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical or Hydraulic schematics
* Responsiblefor onsite quality control
* Reportall unsafe practices, hazards, injuries and incidents immediately to our Group Business Manager
* Ensurecompliance to all relevant Australian regulations, and standards.
* Perform independent installation, inspection, service and repair of equipment in the field in an expeditious manner whilst assuring the customer's needs are met and exceeded
* Maintain complete and accurate service vehicle inventory according to the company guidelines and timely compliance with service vehicle, warehouse, tool and equipment maintenance requirements
* Timely and proper inspection, repair, maintenance and installation of customer equipment in a manner that exceeds customer expectations and that is consistent with Safetech image as the industry leader in customer service
* Develop and maintain good customer relations in a manner that exemplifies Safetech image and commitment to customer service
* Maintain logs, and record labour, materials, and equipment used
* Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations (Electrical Technicians)
* Compliance with all company policies and safety guidelines
General
* Must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and show an aptitude for team leadership exhibited by a strong work ethic and commitment to providing unsurpassed customer service while ensuring teamwork is expressed in all training activities
* Must possess sound knowledge of hydraulic systems (Mechanical Technicians) and have a good understanding of electrical and mechanical theory and the ability to adapt this knowledge to troubleshooting and repairing equipment in the field
* Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of the customer service department policies and procedures
* Experience in using electrical and manual tools with mechanical aptitude (e.g.) mechanical assembly with spanners, sockets and general hand tools
