Our client is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead field operations across utility-scale solar assets. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance, commissioning and operational performance while ensuring safety, quality and efficiency standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise all on-site maintenance, commissioning and field service activities
* Oversee AC and DC systems including inverters, transformers, switchgear and PV arrays
* Lead preventative and corrective maintenance in line with operational plans
* Ensure strict adherence to safety systems including LOTO, JHA and arc flash standards
* Manage site personnel, contractors and daily work scheduling
* Monitor plant performance via SCADA and ensure optimal operation
* Maintain accurate reporting, work orders and maintenance documentation
* Coordinate troubleshooting, fault resolution and technical support activities
* Deliver toolbox talks, training and ensure compliance with procedures
* Act as key on-site escalation point and support remote operations teams
Requirements
* Electrical Licence (Supervisor or Contractor level)
* 3+ years in a similar role or 2+ years supervisory experience
* Strong background in utility-scale solar or power generation
* High Voltage Switching Operator Licence (HVSO) required
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HV/MV equipment and SCADA
* Proven experience supervising field teams and contractors
* Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
* Strong safety leadership and compliance focus
* Confident communicator with strong problem-solving ability
* Competent in CMMS and Microsoft Office systems
* First Aid and LV Rescue certification
* Experience in remote site operations
* Prior experience leading multi-disciplinary field teams
