Warehouse Coordinator

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage and delivery of supplies to support patient care. Key responsibilities include unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and storage, matching deliveries with documentation and reporting damaged goods.

This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as experience in warehouse or distribution environments, including handling equipment. The successful applicant will also possess good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Besides excellent organizational skills, this position requires a Forklift license and strong computer literacy with demonstrated proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Excel.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining a clean and organized supply area, supporting continuous improvement efforts and participating in quality assurance activities.


About This Role

This Warehouse Coordinator opportunity is located at Fiona Stanley Hospital, where you'll work closely with the clinical workforce and make a meaningful impact on the experience of patients and visitors.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Unloading goods and ensuring proper handling and storage
* Matching deliveries with documentation and reporting damaged goods
* Managing stock deliveries to hospital departments and conducting stock checks
* Ensuring safety standards and compliance with traffic management procedures
* Assisting clinical staff with stock requests and maintaining a clean, organized supply area
* Supporting continuous improvement efforts and participating in quality assurance activities


Requirements

* Skill Requirements:
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Experience in warehouse or distribution environments, including handling equipment
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
* Forklift license (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong computer literacy with demonstrated proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Excel
