Due to extended periods of annual leave, they are looking to appoint an Information Management Officer to assist with ongoing document control duties.
About the role
Reporting into the Senior Information Management Officer, you will assist and support in the provision of information management services in order to achieve and maintain business and legislative requirements. This will include:
Processing, scanning and tracking of all incoming, outgoing and internal correspondence;
Develop, reviewing and updating information management policies, procedures and the Record Keeping Plan;
Assist in the maintenance and operation of archival management and inactive document storage program in accordance with approved retention and disposal schedules;
Maintain an awareness of current trends and developments in Information Management and attend relevant training and workshops accordingly; and
Participate in safety audits and inspections to demonstrate visible safety leadership and participation.
About you
Ideally, you will hold a Certificate III or higher in Information Management or related discipline and have experience in Records and / or Information Management. You will have sound administration skills and computer literacy as well as a C Class Driver's License. Experience working with an EDRMS is highly desired.
