A permanent part-time opportunity (27 hours per week) exists to deliver high quality presentation of facilities and tracks at the Cranbourne Harness Racing Club.
Ideally this role would be best suited to an individual who could live onsite where affordable accommodation would be provided.
**About Us**
The Cranbourne Harness Racing Club (CHRC) is located at the Cranbourne Racing Centre, home also to both the Cranbourne Turf Club and the Cranbourne Greyhound Club.
The Club runs approximately 25 race meetings per year and operates a state of the art on course stabling and training facility.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of the tracks for racing, trials and training
- Cleaning and maintenance of all common areas and equipment within CHRC Training Centre
- General repairs & upkeep
- Grounds-keeping (including mowing & gardening)
- Management of regular vehicle and machinery equipment maintenance programs
- Commitment and adherence to health safety and wellbeing standards
**About You**
Ideally you will be passionate about racing and will have worked in the racing sector.
You will also possess:
- Diligence and commitment to achieving desired standards of excellence re venue presentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Communication skills to enable harmonious & collaborative participation in a team environment
- Experience in operation of plant and machinery, including but not limited to tractors, mowers, vehicles, and other agricultural implements (eg towable grader, track conditioner)
- Desirable to have qualification cards in Front End Loader, Backhoe Operation
- Valid Victorian Driver's license
