Job Description
1. Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of abnormal size and shape goods.
2. Develop and implement strategies to optimise logistics and reduce costs.
3. Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards.
4. Manage relationships with suppliers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders.
5. Monitor and report on transport performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
6. Coordinate maintenance and servicing of the transport fleet.
7. Lead and mentor the logistics team to achieve operational excellence.
8. Address and resolve any transport‐related issues or delays promptly.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Transport Manager should have:
9. Proven experience in transport or logistics management, ideally within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
10. Proven experience working with complex and abnormal size and shape loads.
11. Strong knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements in Australia.
12. Be willing to work in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide.
13. Excellent organisational and problem‐solving skills.
14. Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
15. Strong stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
16. Familiarity with fleet management and maintenance practices.
