Get a Chef Now is seeking reliable and experienced Food Service Assistants (FSA), Laundry/Housekeeping staff, Chefs, and Cooks to join our casual workforce across aged care facilities in Geelong and surrounding regional areas.

The role
Duties will vary depending on your role and may include:
* Meal service support, dining room and trolley set-up
* Food preparation, cooking, and plating (Chefs & Cooks)
* Completing food safety records (temperatures, cleaning schedules, goods receipting)
* Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning in line with Food Safety Programs
* Laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distribution
* Housekeeping to maintain clean and safe environments
* Working collaboratively with kitchen and site teams
* Providing respectful, resident-focused service
About you
* Experience in aged care, healthcare, or commercial hospitality (desirable)
* Ability to follow dietary, hygiene, and WHS requirements
* Reliable, organised, and able to work in a team
* Strong communication skills
* Compassionate approach to working with elderly residents
Requirements
Police Check (issued within the last 18 months or willingness to obtain)
Food Handler's Certificate (for kitchen-based roles)
Australian/New Zealand residency or valid working visa
* Proof of COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination (mandatory for aged care)
