The Role of the People, Safety, Culture and Compliance Officer is a role that ensures the organisation adheres to relevant legislation through precise tracking and documentation while ensuring the safety of its staff and clients through various systems.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in HR compliance and safety management.
Current First Aid certification is required for this position.
This role performs the above function through the use of close monitoring of systems to ensure compliance is achieved at every level. These systems may include:
* Microsoft Excel
* Microsoft SharePoint
* XOnboard
* ShiftCare
Additionally, this role will work hands on with staff in supporting them through their journey here at Future Focus to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to our clients. The PSCCO will support the Team Leaders in all background operations to ensure synergy occurs across the board.
This role will be expected to be understanding of the industries legislative requirements. The role will be expected to effectively plan and manage change across the organisation as new legislation requirement arise.
Future Focus utilises a Support and Reflection model to support its staff on-going. The PSCCO will ensure this occurs, is effective, supportive and beneficial for the staff to promote positive team culture across the organisation.
This is a part time position ranging from 16-25 hours per week.
A typical day as a PSCCO at Future Focus could look like:
* Ensuring all data is entered correctly and in time with legislative requirements across the spreadsheets.
* Ensuring all tracking measurements are in place and timeframes are being adhered to.
* Completing Support and Reflections with staff.
* Amalgamating and updating outdated documents to create a more concise system.
* Sitting as part of the Senior Leadership Team to help implement positive change across the organisation.
* Facilitating and recording of meetings held at Future Focus.
* Other tasks as needed to support the clients, teams, and organisation.
