We are looking for a professional Store Manager to join our unique store.
The role includes:
* Staff rostering, support and training
* Perform daily administrative tasks
* Communicating policies and procedures to all staff through training
* Supervising and managing the day-to-day activities of all staff
* Stock management and reporting
* Collaborating with the business owner to generate a vibrant and positive culture where sales are maximized and issues are dealt with quickly and effectively
* Managing inventory: orders, stock takes, loss prevention, customer returns
* Working closely with the Director on business development and management projects
* Ensuring the showroom is impeccably presented at all times
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with management, staff, customers, and suppliers
* Managing store performance and team targets
The ideal candidate for this role:
* Has strong retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, gift industry, or related roles in other industries such as hospitality
* Is confident, high energy, and self-motivated
* Models a high degree of professionalism and effective communication at all levels
* Possesses a positive and inspiring management and mentoring style
* Can confidently use POS systems
* Can manage staff's daily tasks and performance
* Is comfortable working in a stockroom environment and performing stock unpacking tasks as required
* Can balance customer care with administrative duties
* Provides superior customer service with high organization standards
* Has an eye for detail to uphold visual merchandising standards
* Is flexible to work weekends and holidays as required
This position offers a minimum of 30-38 hours/week with hours negotiable for the right applicant.
To be successful, you will possess the following:
* Demonstrated experience as a Sales/Store/Stock Manager or higher level in retail or related industries such as hospitality
