Guest Services Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a professional and welcoming Guest Services Manager to create exceptional experiences for our hotel guests. As a first impression maker, you will be responsible for overseeing guest interactions and managing front office operations to deliver seamless service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective strategies to drive guest satisfaction and loyalty
* Manage daily hotel inventory and monitor room availability to maximize revenue opportunities
* Ensure operational data accuracy and actioned correctly in systems
* Administration and reporting, including delivering key information to relevant departments
* Manage escalations and complaints effectively
Requirements:
* A qualification in Hospitality Management is desirable
* Current RSA and First Aid Certification, and a current driver's license are essential
* Experience with hotel booking systems, preferably Opera, is an advantage
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate employees to deliver high standards of service
