About the Role
Come aboard and take the next step in your career We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project & Strategic Accounts Coordinator for our growing Melbourne team.
Reporting to the Head of Projects and Strategic Accounts this role will be the key point of contact for customer enquiries within our Projects and Strategic Accounts portfolio. This multidisciplinary position works closely with multiple departments, including Sea and Air Imports Operations, Customer Service, Pricing, and Cartage. Key Accountabilities
Liaise with customers via phone, email, and in-person channels to support them with their cargo inquiries.
Manage customer orders with overseas Gebrüder Weiss offices and agents to ensure seamless delivery.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers to maintain effective partnerships.
Source rates, services & solutions from our global providers.
Liaise with the Project Manager to support customer relationships. This includes providing quotations, managing customer updates, resolving client issues, and improving customer relationships.
Process customer shipments through the task manager functionality of Cargowise to manage the paperless processing of orders and shipments.
Creating, maintaining, and distributing reports for our clients.
Work with overseas agents and colleagues to manage the timely turnaround of quotations & placing of new orders
Skills and Experience
At least 5+ years' experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry with demonstrated exposure to Customer Service, Pricing, Operations, and Transportation.
Demonstrated experience handling & quoting for Project cargo.
Familiarity and experience with CargoWise1 is considered essential.
Knowledge of all modes of freight forwarding.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and running reports.
Outgoing personality with a commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes.
