Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Specialist Cardiac Physiologist (Echocardiographer) to join our Cardiac Physiologist Leadership Team. Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, you will lead a team of Specialist Cardiac Physiologists while continuing to deliver high quality clinical services. You will play a key role in liaising with our Doctor group and practice staff to ensure our clinical services provide diagnostic excellence, patient-centred care, operational efficiency and improvements into our future.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Excellence
Deliver high quality echocardiography services in line with professional standards.
Ensure accurate and acquisition, interpretation and documentation of diagnostic data to support clinical decisions within the SCP team.
Keeping at the forefront of clinic knowledge and innovation.
Leadership and Team Support
Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring and clinical support to all SCPs.
Support training, development and performance of students and their key supervisors.
Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Patient and Referrer Experience
Deliver high levels of patient care and customer service.
Build strong, trusted relationships with referrers, Cardiologists and internal stakeholders.
Manage patient and referrer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
Quality, Safety and Governance
Uphold quality, safety and risk management standards across clinical services.
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, accreditation requirements and WHS obligations.
Identify and escalate equipment issues, risks and improvement opportunities.
Business Growth
Contribute to service improvement initiatives and workflow efficiencies.
Support clinic growth, innovation and continuous improvement.
Promote Advara Heartcare services and brand values.

Essential Requirements:
ASAR registration.
Relevant Echocardiography professional accreditation.
Communication, organisation and leadership skills.
Ability to travel through different Advara sites.
Desirable:
Current life support/CPR certification.
Experience supporting or leading teams.
Understanding of Medicare criteria for Cardiac testing.
Experience with clinical; systems such as; GE Ultrasound, Ticker Cardiology reporting platform and Healthtrack EMR.
