Senior Associates (5+ PAE)
Suitable for lawyers seeking to step into a senior role with greater client responsibility, strategic input and matter ownership. Candidates may come from industrial common law, workers compensation, CTP, public liability, professional indemnity or broader insurance litigation backgrounds and will be comfortable managing matters with increasing autonomy.
Associates (3+ PAE)
Suitable for lawyers with a foundation in personal injury or insurance litigation who are looking to accelerate their development within a high-performing defendant insurance practice. Strong technical skills, client focus and litigation experience will be highly regarded, together with a genuine interest in building a long-term career within insurance law.
The Work
Depending on the role and firm, matters may include:
* Industrial common law negligence claims
* CTP common law claims
* Personal injury litigation
* Liability investigations
* Settlement negotiations and mediations
* Court appearances and advocacy opportunities
* Direct insurer, employer and institutional client engagement
About You
You will ideally bring:
* 3+ years PAE (Associate) or 5+ years PAE (Senior Associate)
* Experience within personal injury, insurance or litigation environments
* Strong drafting and matter management skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
* A desire to continue developing your career within defendant insurance
