An exciting opportunity has become available for an experience Commercial Manager to join the Building team on Section 96, a city shaping, multi-use precinct in the heart of Canberra.

The Role:
As Commercial Manager, you will be required to take ownership of all commercial aspects of a project including administration of the head contract and subcontracts, developing the procurement strategy and processes, as well as outlining cost controls, budgets and manage project cash flow. You will also be responsible to ensuring that contracts and tender documents contain the necessary EH&S inclusions. As this is a leadership role you will lead and mentor your commercial and administration project team through to handover based on site.
Your Background- Degree qualified in a relevant field of study with relevant contractual and financial management experience for a main contractor- An ability to provide expert knowledge across contract management, construction law and quantity surveying- An ability to train, mentor and develop junior staff- Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to influence key stakeholders
