**SMS Mining Services is a privately owned, West Australian-based Mining Contractor. Founded in 2000, SMS has progressed from being solely Equipment Rental to now having extensive involvement in the Maintenance, Contract Mining, and Drill and Blast Divisions.**

**SMS Mining are currently seeking an experienced Fleet Management Systems Technician. This position will be on an 8:6 roster.**
**To be Considered for this position you must have**:
- Previous Experience in a similar role, preferably in a surface mining environment
- Relevant Australian Recognised trade certificate
- Demonstrated experience with communication/network infrastructure software
- Exceptional Diagnostic and Troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience with installation of communication systems - Two-way, GPS, FMS
- Previous experience in the delivery of training packages for end users - Train the end users how to effectively use the systems fitted to the equipment.

- Digital Radio Systems - Motorola
- Topcon GPS Systems - Excavators and Dozers
- Trimble HNS (Hole Navigation System) - Drills
- Rajant WIFI Mesh Networks
- GPS Trailer Mount Base Stations/Repeaters
- Livemine Fleet System
