CAPS Australia is looking for a Trade Qualified Electrician with mechanical aptitude to join our high-performing Adelaide team as a Field Service Technician. If you're confident in electrical systems and enjoy variety in your work, this role offers the perfect mix of independence, support, and technical challenge.
Working Monday to Friday (approx. 7:30 am to 3:30 pm), you'll be servicing equipment across greater Adelaide – with a modern, fully equipped service vehicle and all the tools you need.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Servicing and repairing air compressors and diesel generators with a focus on electrical systems
* Fault-finding and responding to breakdowns at customer sites
* Performing preventative maintenance and safety inspections
* Collaborating with clients and internal teams to recommend system improvements
* Travelling around Adelaide and nearby areas with plenty of variety
What We're Looking For:
* A recognised electrical trade qualification (e.g., Cert III in Electrotechnology Electrician) – required
* Mechanical experience or aptitude (e.g., diesel engines, compressors, pumps)
* Valid driver's licenceA current driver's licence
* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
* A safety-first attitude and good communication skills
* Experience with generators or compressors (advantageous but not essential)
