Job Summary

This role supports and empowers individuals and families affected by family or domestic violence, providing timely and effective assistance in a compassionate and empathetic manner.

You will be trained to work across various services supporting women and children experiencing family or domestic violence.

Main Responsibilities

* Deliver person-centered support services to clients
* Provide crisis intervention and safety planning
* Foster effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders
* Document client information accurately and thoroughly
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with community agencies and organizations

Key Skills and Qualifications

* Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent
* Knowledge of family and domestic violence, its impacts, and local communities
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Computer literacy and proficiency in software applications
