The Role
Reporting to the Business Services Lead, you will perform a full range of contracting activities on behalf of a major global oil & gas client. This position is a permanent full-time role.

Responsibilities
* Primary focus is post-contract subcontractor management. Managing contractor compliance including completion of background checks, training, insurances, HSE statistics (including monthly hours), and drug and alcohol testing.
* From time to time, manage the pre-award process of subcontractor qualification, and negotiation and drafting for various types of service contracts.
* Work with the Business Services Lead and site teams to oversee site activities and manage subcontractor performance issues.
* Partner with site teams to ensure suppliers deliver value for the client.
* Perform post-award administration including issuing purchase orders and checking invoices.
* Conduct commercial audits of subcontractors.
Qualifications
* Commercially astute with solid experience in developing and managing contracts with global suppliers.
* Strong understanding of contracting principles, particularly in the oil & gas or mining industries.
* Degree qualified in business or commerce, or similar discipline, with at least 5 years of resources industry experience.
* Flexibility and adaptability to prioritise conflicting demands.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Experience in Oracle, or SAP is desired.
