The Position
The IT Systems Administrator provides system-level technical support across Catholic Education NT's enterprise ICT environment, supporting 18 schools and one corporate office across a mixture of cloud and on-premise services. The role supports the technical operations of CENT enterprise systems, contributes to ICT initiatives aligned with CENT's ICT Roadmap and Strategic Plans, and ensures the effective implementation, monitoring and ongoing performance of ICT systems and fleet management across schools and the Catholic Education Office (CEO). This is a full-time permanent position, with commencement negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the management of CEO ICT services including WAN, LAN, fleet, software, audio visual, IP telephony and end user services.
* Contribute to the design, implementation and management of CENT ICT infrastructure including IaaS, DNS, VPN, Cloud and WAN services (with support from service providers).
* Perform operational aspects of ICT projects and change management initiatives.
* Undertake ongoing administration of CENT systems infrastructure, including system health monitoring, logging, proactive monitoring, patching and storage management.
* Act as a key point of contact and escalation between the Catholic Education Office and schools.
* Maintain and contribute to CENT's technical knowledge base.
* Provide internal ICT support within CEO and school ICT teams.
* Undertake urban and remote school ICT support engagements as required.

About You
* Demonstrates experience delivering enterprise technical services with initiative and ownership.
* Has experience documenting, supporting and troubleshooting complex ICT systems.
* Has Systems Administration experience across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, IaaS environments and Windows client systems.
* Possesses foundational networking capability (LAN/WAN, DNS, troubleshooting).
* Has experience in ICT fleet management including hardware provisioning, SOE management, licensing and software deployment/patching.
* Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and a service-focused mindset.
* Has experience implementing ICT system change.
* Is willing to support the culture and Catholic ethos of Catholic Education NT.
