Overview
The Human Resources team within the Department of Health is seeking motivated HR Services Officers to support managers and clients with payroll-related tasks. The Payroll North West Team is located at TasTAFE Burnie and supports a range of payroll functions for the Department of Health.
Details
Multiple fixed term full time, day worker positions, 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for 12 months. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary and benefits
Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and assistance to managers and staff on a diverse range of human resource services, specifically payroll and recruitment matters.
- Undertake accurate, efficient, and effective processing of all salary payments, including new employments, terminations, and all personnel movements, on a day-to-day basis.
- Interpret and apply Award provisions in calculating and coding timesheets and liaise with managers and staff to resolve issues arising.
