The Opportunity

The Learning Experience Designer is a key contributor within the Student Experience team, part of the Education Division at Monash College. This role advances excellence in learning and teaching by designing, developing, and enhancing

learning experiences that integrate sound pedagogy with innovative digital technologies.

Working collaboratively across the College, the Learning Experience Designer partners with fellow learning design specialists within the team and with academic and professional staff to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that foster active learning and meaningful student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborative Learning Design: Work in partnership with other Learning Experience Designers, and academic staff to co-design engaging, evidence-based learning experiences that enhance pedagogy and student success.
* Pedagogical Development: Apply learning science, educational theory, and instructional design methodologies to develop innovative and inclusive learning environments that reflect best practice in teaching and learning.
* Digital Integration: Incorporate digital technologies and learning management systems effectively to support active learning, personalisation, and academic engagement across multiple delivery modes.
* Curriculum Enhancement:Collaborate with teaching teams to refine curriculum design, structure, and delivery to optimise alignment with learning outcomes and pedagogical goals.
* Project Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional projects focused on enhancing digital learning capacity, curriculum renewal, and teaching excellence initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

* Demonstrated understanding of learning and teaching pedagogy, curriculum design, and evidence-based instructional strategies.

* Proven ability to develop digital and blended learning experiences using learning management systems (preferably Moodle) and a range of educational design tools.

* A Bachelor degree in Education, Learning Design, Educational Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and experience).
