Position Information
The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW children from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.
A School Administration Officer is responsible to the Principal for assisting in a range of school, classroom and office activities, e.g., record keeping, book keeping and other clerical duties; reception; operating and maintaining classroom and office equipment; purchasing; preparing and maintaining stock and learning/resource materials.
Guildford Public School is excited to be opening our new public preschool. This initiative is part of the NSW Government's commitment to deliver 100 new public preschools by 2027.
Staff undertaking roles in preschools will be required to demonstrate suitability and ongoing compliance with the Children (Education and Care Services) National Law (NSW) and Education and Care Services National Regulations (NSW), and NSW Department of Education policies and practices as implemented for public preschools. * Ability to work with teachers and children.
* Ability to perform tasks in one or more of the following areas: office procedures; accounting procedures; word processing; operation of computers and/or classroom/office equipment; library procedures; hospitality and/or design and technology; science.
* Commitment to protecting and promoting the safety, wellbeing and rights of all children.

It is anticipated that the position will commence on Day 1, Term 3 2026 – 20 July 2026.
