We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist with strong technical capability across Java, WebSphere, and ideally Microsoft Power Platform. This role is a 50/50 blend of BAU operational support and project delivery, supporting critical applications and ensuring high availability, performance, and ongoing enhancements.

Description
Manage access requests, service requests, change requests, and certificate renewals.
* Perform end‐to‐end application troubleshooting across Java and WebSphere-based environments.
* Understand application behaviour, review logs, interpret Java code, and diagnose issues across the full application lifecycle.
* Participate in the on‐call roster (Thursday-Thursday, twice per month).
* Ensure timely resolution of incidents, outages, and escalations, with overtime paid as per policy.
* Contribute to enhancement projects, upgrades, integrations, and system improvements.
* Support the implementation of continuous improvement activities.
Profile A Successful Applications Support Specialist - Java Should Have
* Strong experience in Java (ability to understand and interpret Java code, system flows, and logic paths).
* Hands‐on experience with WebSphere administration, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting (nice to have).
* Experience using or supporting applications built on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps).
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
