Job Title: Senior Clinical Psychologist
About the Role
This position is responsible for delivering psychological services and expert consultancy within the Public Protection Branch.
The successful candidate will be accountable for clinical interviews, assessments, evaluations and reports regarding risk assessments of Child Sex Offenders listed on the Australian National Child Sex Offender Register and/or persons with sexually deviant behaviours.
This role requires an experienced clinician who applies specialised expertise providing discipline specific assessments, interventions and consultancy services to the branch.
The incumbent will work as a part of a team, providing expert consultancy regarding issues of psychological practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver psychological services and expert consultancy within the Public Protection Branch.
* Conduct clinical interviews, assessments, evaluations and reports regarding risk assessments of Child Sex Offenders listed on the Australian National Child Sex Offender Register and/or persons with sexually deviant behaviours.
* Apply specialised expertise providing discipline specific assessments, interventions and consultancy services to the branch.
* Work as a part of a team, providing expert consultancy regarding issues of psychological practice.
Requirements
* A Master's degree in Organisational, Forensic, or other relevant Psychology.
* Current unrestricted registration as a psychologist under the provisions of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (SA) Act 2010 and Regulations.
